Raw Materials

Alumina (Al₂O₃)

Alumina is a white crystalline powder derived from bauxite ore and is the primary raw material used in the production of aluminium. It is refined from bauxite through a chemical process known as the Bayer process.

We source alumina from large and renowned refineries across the globe, ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality alumina to meet the demands of our customers in the aluminium industry.

Aluminium Fluoride (AlF₃)

Aluminium fluoride is a white crystalline solid used as a flux in the aluminium smelting process. It helps lower the melting point of alumina, reducing energy consumption during electrolysis.

We have cooperation and marketing agreements with producers of aluminium fluoride from different origins, enabling us to offer a diverse range of products to our customers.

Bath Material

Bath material is a crucial component in the Hall-Héroult process, which is the primary method for producing aluminium. It acts as an electrolyte, allowing the electric current to pass through and facilitate the reduction of alumina into aluminium.

As a global leader in bath material trading, we collaborate with smelters worldwide to provide timely and high-quality bath material for various applications, including recycling and manufacturing.

Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC)

Calcined petroleum coke is a high-purity carbon material derived from petroleum refining. It is a vital raw material for producing carbon anodes, which are used in the aluminium smelting process.

We source calcined petroleum coke from the industry’s leading global producers, ensuring a reliable supply of this essential material for our customers.

Carbon Anodes

Carbon anodes are large blocks of carbon material used in the aluminium smelting process. They are consumed during electrolysis, providing the carbon atoms needed to reduce alumina into aluminium.

We can supply any size of carbon anodes under spot and/or long-term agreements, catering to the specific needs of our customers in the aluminium industry.

Carbon Anode Butts

Carbon anode butts are the remnants of carbon anodes after they have been partially consumed in the aluminium smelting process. These butts can be recycled and reused as raw materials for producing new carbon anodes.

We provide spent anodes (anode butts) from various smelters with different qualities, offering a sustainable and cost-effective solution for our customers.

Coal Tar Pitch (CTP)

Coal tar pitch is a thick, black liquid derived from coal tar, a byproduct of the coke production process. It is used as a binder in the production of carbon anodes, providing strength and integrity to the anodes.

Synthetic Cryolite (Na₃AlF₆)

Synthetic cryolite is a white crystalline compound used as a flux in the aluminium smelting process. It helps dissolve alumina and lower the operating temperature of the electrolytic cell.
